Help and information on State Benefits to over 60s, to maximise benefit entitlement and
promote independence in retirement. Benefits dealt with include State Pension, Pension Credit, Attendance Allowance/Disability Living Allowance/Carers Allowance
and Housing Benefit/Council Tax Benefit. The service is provided through home visits and advice surgeries, some as drop-ins and some appointment only. For under 60s, provides help and information on State Pension Forecasts/deferral. |
